I consider myself a student athlete - student first, athlete second. I believe that trying to become a better student has also helped me to become a better athlete and vice versa. To me, the benefits of balancing academics and sports excellence include improved concentration, discipline, willingness to work harder and learn to always do my best, no matter what the result is.
I am passionate about basketball because I really have a lot of fun playing it. It also teaches me to train hard every day, work as a team and keep improving. When we lose a game, we try to learn from it and when we win, we still talk about how we could get better. Basketball teaches me to be humble, to respect others, to follow rules and get physically stronger. I would like to inspire others to be fit and happy.
