Charles "Tripp" Mayes '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Charles "Tripp" Mayes, and I'm currently a senior at Sunnyvale High School located in Sunnyvale, Texas. After my senior year I will be attending Hargrave Military Academy for a year of prep, and in doing so I will reclassify to the class of 2020. I've loved the sport of basketball my entire life as it's my passion.  All throughout my years in middle and high school, basketball has taught me very valuable lessons to succeed.  I strive to be the best student, athlete, and person I can possibly be.  My goal is to secure a basketball scholarship while furthering my education at a college/university.  My dream, ever since I was 10 years old, is to be able to have the opportunity to coach basketball and teach kids/adolescents.  I plan on obtaining a degree in education with an emphasis on physical education and an ultimate goal of coaching basketball.  Currently I'm enrolled in two dual credit classes at my high school. I'm committed to working towards my goals as a player and person while doing whatever it takes to achieve my goals.
