EJ Schneeberg '25 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches:

My name is EJ Schneeberg. I play on the Varsity for the #20 Nationally Ranked Sidwell Friends Basketball team for DC Coach of the Year, Eric Singletary.  At Sidwell our values are: Attitude, Toughness, Intelligence and Poise.  Last year our team won the DC State Championship and went 27-1.  I am 6'1" PG who can also play shooting guard.  I have a high basketball IQ and enjoy getting my teammates involved.  I've been playing AAU basketball since I was in 2nd grade with AAU teams in the DMV including Team Takeover, Team Durant, and New World.  I love sports statistics and plan to study Sport Analytics in college.  I believe that data and analytics can help  athletes and teams gain an competitive advantage and identify areas in need of improvement. 

In addition to basketball I've also played football my whole life. I've played Quarterback and currently wide receiver and strong safety.   Last year, I was named MVP of the JV league leading my team to a 1-loss season while playing both Varsity and JV. 

I play behind several D1 prospects and have learned so much from Coach Singletary and the upper classmen on my team.  I know that I can contribute to a team that wants to win and believe that I help contribute to the overall culture of any team I'm on by demonstrating character, hard work and passion!  

I look forward to finding the right college or university for me where I can contribute, learn and grow.
