Elijah Hawkins '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Elijah Hawkins, I am a 6’2” 150lbs junior at Staunton River High School, in Moneta Virginia. I am a left handed point guard and shooting guard. I am always striving to improve my skills and knowledge of the game.  My hard work extends to the classroom, practice, games, and weight room. I am highly coachable and adaptable. I also maintain a great attitude towards my teammates, referees, and coaches. As a player, I handle the ball well and push the pace to move the ball down the court with good transitions to offense. My shooting ability allows me to knock down threes and finish around the rim with floaters or layups. I have played on several competitive teams and leagues. In April of 2023, I had the distinct honor of competing in the 2023 High School All American Showcase. I was named a top prospect. My goal is to play college basketball at a competitive university, where I will receive a quality education and play basketball with amazing teammates who are inspiring, supportive, and passionate about basketball.
