Joshua Talbert '19 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to go to a four year division 1 college on either an athletic or academic scholarship. I am not sure what I want to study but I believe it will be something that has to do with sports as I love all sports not just basketball. I am different from other recruits because I am an extremely hard worker on and off the court, a true team player doing whatever my team mates need me to do to win the game. I like getting all my team mates involved by sharing the ball although when I need to score, I will do it,  and can score from all areas of the court.  I have a true team mentality  I don't have to be the top scorer,  if one of my team mates is hot I will make sure he is getting the ball. I love playing defense, I take pride in getting a lot of steals in a game and love to block the ball.  I'm also a very coachable player and have been told I have a great basketball IQ.  I am very athletic and always looking to strengthen my skills.  I love the game of basketball and would like to carry it with me through life.
