Darrien Jones '24 Recruiting Profile

Coaches,

Thank you for visiting my profile. 

I’m Darrien Jones, one of the hardest working athletes you will ever meet. 

I’m currently a rising sophomore at Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School in Potomac Shores, Virginia.  Academics, athletics and ethics are priority to me. 

My goal is to obtain a scholarship to attend a D1 school for basketball and pursue a bachelor’s degree in law-enforcement. 

I continuously strive to get better on and off the court. I have a 3.3 GPA. For the past several years, I’ve averaged six days a week in the gym with my high school and AAU basketball coaches or athletic trainers. I currently average 10 points a game and I’m highly recognized for my defense. 

As an athlete, I highly value establishing relationships with my coaches and incorporating their feedback to improve my basketball IQ. 

While basketball is my top priority,  I’m a triple threat athlete. I’ve been a skilled football player since the age of six and am also a track athlete.
