Stavontai McSwain '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Stavontai McSwain, 6'0 PG class of 2025. I go to Mariner High School and played all 4 years at the varsity level. My main goal has never changed from when I was a little kid which was to go to college and play basketball and take it as far as I can. Making it to the NBA is the end goal for me but I also understand patience and understood at a young age that there are good days and bad days and that's the beauty of it all. With a college opportunity I will fulfill any trust a coach puts into me, I am a very great team player but also a great scorer and I know how to balance all of that. I'm strong around the rim, precise dribbling, great passer, I have a good shot, and last but certainly not least I can go out there and guard the best players 94 feet. I am the most composed, focused, and dedicated player you will find. I have a mature approach. Difference between me and other players is yes I bring everything to the court but I also give a great personality off the court which brings people to find a liking into me and feel they can connect with me. As a point guard it's important for you to have a connection with everyone on the team and I've always had a connection with every player on my team I've played with since I was 5. I will always be that guy you can count on.
