Personal Statement
Hi my name is Kobe Simpson and I'm a junior at Mount Spokane High School in Colbert, WA. I looking forward to my senior year and hope that I can finish off my career there with state championship trophy for my school. Beyond that I'm working hard now to make it to the next level.
If you have questions or concerns about my playing ability speak to Dan Dickau, former 1st team All American, NBA player and Portland Trailblazer development coach. He has coached me in tournaments, clinics and individually. He maybe reached at 360-281-0909.
When I'm playing hoops my main goal is always to help the team win in whatever way necessary, I'm more than willing to take a charge, dive for loose balls and playing relentless defense. I'm a very good student and I'm striving for a 4.0 this semester and overall I have a 3.7 GPA. I want to major in business in college and hope to have great professors who help teach me valuable skills and knowledge. I'm a honest, hard working young man who thrives on competition and excelling in the classroom. Basketball will end one day and I want to be prepared for a solid professional life after my career is over. I've played, trained and competed in aau since the fourth grade. I've won championships in local league or tournaments in the pacific NW each year. In all I've won or been runner up 18 times between 4th grade and 16U. I played on Team Sabonis/Spokane Warriors Elite since the spring of 5th grade. We took pride in playing any team and winning as collective group that shared the ball and focused on team first. We traveled to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Portland, and Seattle to name a few cities.
When I'm not at school or practice I love spending time with my family and friends. Our family enjoys boating, wake surfing and traveling to warm locations when we can. I have great friends and teammates whom I like to play video games with or other fun activities.
Thank you for reading my profile and have a great day,
Kobe Simpson
