Zakary Klug '19 Recruiting Profile

After high school I would like to pursue a degree in business. I would like to attend a 4 year university and also play basketball while I am there. I have been apart of the winningest class in Franklin High School history. Throughout the years I have been apart of many close games and many high pressure moments and learned from these how to handle these situations. Through all of the close wins and heartbreaking losses my love for the game that started as a kid has continued to grow. The love for the game will always be what pushes me to play my hardest and try to fit any role that is asked of me by a coach. Throughout high school I have played the 1-5 in the offense and have made it my niche to be a versatile player. Being a 3 year varsity starter I have stepped up each year to fit the role the team best needed me to fill to give us the best chance to win. As a captain and leader of my high school team I have learned the importance of communication and the ability to instill confidence in my teammates. Academically, I earned a 28 on the ACT, have a 3.5 GPA, and am a member of the National Honor's Society.
