Ian Schuster '20 Recruiting Profile

As a child, I was involved in a full variety of sports, and my taste for a favorite one was unknown. However, as the years went on I became more attracted to basketball and the uplifting energy I experienced from it. In middle school, when I first started making deep three-pointers, I felt excitement within myself and fell in love with the game. I have learned the significance of time management, dedication, consistency, hard work, communication, relationship building, and mental toughness while playing basketball throughout my life. These values have led to me pushing myself academically in school and being the best student I can be. Aside from being a floor general and facilitator on the court, I am an information-absorbing and determined individual who wants to surround himself around people that will push me to the next level.
