Lance Evans '19 Recruiting Profile

In my life I have had many influences, but the biggest influence of my character and values has been my upbringing. I have grown up on a Ranch. This upbringing has brought me into contact with people especially my family members, that have shaped who I am today. My love for the sport started back in elementary school when I was invited to compete on a local traveling team. From that point on I found a love for the game. Through the sport of basketball I have learned a lot about myself. Specific things that I have learned through my experiences is that there are no days off, and there is always something to learn and to improve upon.

Not only do I have goals of playing college basketball but I have strong academic goals as well. I would like to graduate high school with a 4.00 GPA, have at least a 30 on my ACT, and be able to have some college credit from high school. In college, I want to get a degree in Engineering.

Some unique characteristics that I have is, I am a quick learner. I can pick up on new concepts and skills well. Another unique characteristic is that I can not only learn new things but understand the concept of why it is important, and how it works.
