Taydin Murphy '24 Recruiting Profile

 Hi I'm Taydin Murphy a senior at Minooka Community High School (Class of 2024). I've been diving for 3 years with my high school team and 1 with my club, and I'm really looking forward to this season. My goals for this season are to break the 6 dive record at my home pool, becoming more consistent on the board, and getting Top 25 at the State Meet. I think I'm great for any college team, not just for diving skills, but also for the person I am. I try my best to be positive and to push my teammates to compete at their best because that also helps me get better. I'm a very disciplined and coach-able athlete who will give everything 110%.

UPDATE: I'm very proud of my performance this season and very happy with where I'm at. I got 32nd at the State Finals, broke our schools 11 dive record with a score of 432.60 (old record was 384.55), and I have gotten more consistent on the board. Not only consistent, but confident as well. I changed my approach on the board which gets me more height and looks better overall. I'm really looking for a team with a bunch of strong divers I can look up to and learn from. I want to become the best diver I can be so I can improve any team I become apart of. I want to be the best, and who wants to help me?
