My main sport is 1m diving, however I also compete in cross country and track & field, and I am 100% open to 3m diving. I have been running and diving for as long as I can remember. I had never dove competitively until my 7th grade year, where I was instantly a varsity athlete for my high school. As for running, my first competitive race was a 5K when I was 8, and I ended up finishing the race somewhere between 28-29 minutes, earning 2nd place for my age group. Currently, I have a personal best of 18:43 for a 5K race. As for diving, I started diving with my father, who was a high school diver himself, as a hobby during summer break from school at the age of 8. Once my 7th grade year began, I instantly joined the diving team and was a Varsity athlete from day 1. Since then, I have been named an All-Conference HM twice, a 1st Team All-Conference diver, and a State Meet participant my freshman year. I would make a great member of the team for not just the skill of my athletics, but also my leadership. I suffered an injury my freshman year, causing me to miss part of my cross country season. Me not wanting to leave the team for the season, I took on more of a manager role. This cause me to gain a lot of leadership skills, which have only grown as I have aged and matured. I would make a great member of the team because I being leadership, work ethic, and many other attributes to the team.
