Tristan Rodriguez '25 Recruiting Profile

My story is different from most in that I am relatively new to the sport of diving and a junior in high school.  I have a background in both gymnastics and swimming which made for a natural transition.  I have found my passion in diving and have a goal of diving at the collegiate level.  I realize that I don't have the experience of a person who has been diving for many years, but my drive and work ethic go unmatched.  I am very coachable, work extremely hard, learn quickly, and never miss an opportunity to train.  My scores are improving as I put in the work and learn the more difficult dives.  I believe that I have the ability to compete at the next level because I have always been goal oriented and focused.  In addition to my work ethic, I am a good teammate and have always understood that my attitude, my grades, my behavior and my actions reflect on the school and club I represent.  I will continue to work hard in the classroom and on the boards over the next year and a half to reach my goal of diving in college.
