Ishaan Chhina '22 Recruiting Profile

Coming from a small town I always looked for activities and hobbies that would set me apart from my peers. I found my true passion was within golf the second I swung a club. The relaxed swing resulting in a ball flying 350+ yards amazed me. I consider myself a hard worker as I have the discipline to wake up consistently at 5am go practice and still attend school while maintaining a job. I have a habit of helping those around me whenever and wherever I may be. I was able to convince my entire friend group to rise about the stereotype of golf and give it a shot. Now my schools team is comprised of mainly seniors all maintaining the top 5 positions. As for academics I understood without a degree id have to work extremely hard to achieve the lifestyle I aspire. My plan is to get a masters in Biology at a University of California while being part of said schools mens golf team.
