Tyus Goring '17 Recruiting Profile

I will be graduating in 2017 at Franklin High School of Elk Grove, CA. I started playing golf since I was 9, and competitively since I was 12. I have been the leader and top seed of my school for the past 2 years. My goal is to play golf at the collegiate level, and would want to play on the PGA Tour after I receive my degree in business or possibly the medical field. I currently take honors as well as AP classes, and have maintained a 3.43 GPA. I would like to attend a college where I can grow as a person and as a athlete. Challenging myself in academics and athletics. I am a very hard worker and believe in putting everything thing you have into everything you do.  I'm confident I can achieve any goal I commit and dedicate myself to. I continue to set goals for myself to progress in life. Whether its school or on the golf course. When not playing golf, I enjoy playing basketball, working out, spending time with family and friends, and giving back to my community.
