Ryder Clarkson '25 Recruiting Profile

I grew up playing competitive travel baseball as a third baseman, outfielder and clean up hitter.  I started my golf path in 2020 when baseball was shutdown for most of the summer here in Colorado.  In that short time I have played Varsity golf for 3 years and am dedicated to progressing my game.  After my freshman year I stopped playing baseball to focus on golf and Wrestling.  I am a 2 year varsity wrestler on the #4 ranked 5A team in the state.  I am 2 time wrestling state qualifier, 2024 regional champion and currently ranked in the top 10 in 5A at 190lbs. In regards to golf, wrestling helps me strive to be the best I can and to work hard every day to continue advancing.  As someone who is building golf tournament experience, my success in wrestling is pushing me to work relentlessly on my game and enhance my scoring.  The strengths of my game are my power, iron play and a solid short game but continue to build my skills and improve consistency.  So far this year I have played in several events with a T1 in a Notah Begay qualifier and plan on playing 8-10 more events this summer season. I am dedicated, passionate, hard working and enjoy being coached.  I hope to continue my golfing at the next level and would cherish the opportunity to play college golf.
