Andrew Davis '18 Recruiting Profile

I started playing competitive golf a year and a half ago, which was the beginning of my Sophomore year. I went from shooting mid 90’s to shooting 70’s at this point in my Junior year. I attribute my quick growth to dedication to the sport and pure love of the game.  I spend as much time as possible learning from coaches and mentors and applying their expertise to my game to better myself for tournaments and future college endeavors. I am very capable of learning from and getting along with my coaches and teammates. My coach sees me as a leader of our golf team and relies on me to give guidance to the other kids on the team. Academics are also very important to me.  I would like to find the perfect school where I can balance academics and golf.  I am a diligent student and have learned how to balance school and golf successfully while taking up to as many as four advanced placement classes (Junior Year). My main goal moving forward is to gain tournament experience and shoot low scores! Thank you for taking the time to view my profile.
