Ever since I can remember, I've been playing golf on some of the most challenging courses and against the most fierce competition in the nation. Growing up in Florida and playing 12 months out of the year for the past 10 years gave me those opportunities. Also, I am currently competing against the top 1% of students in the nation, at John Carroll High School. Although these situations are very challenging, I embrace them because I want to be the best student-athlete, and in order to do this I must to compete against the best athletes and the best students from around the world.
When I go to college, I will embrace new challenges and continue to compete with the best, I will dedicate my life and academics in bettering myself as a person, my character, my integrity and work ethic. Whichever college I attend, I will do everything in my power to embrace hardships and become the best person I can become. I will represent the college and become an ambassador not only while I'm attending college, but even when I become an Alumni. I believe in leaving a legacy behind for future generations. I'm only one generation removed from my family immigrating to the United States. That means something to me and I want to honor the struggles my parents and grandparents went through so I can live with the hopes of prosperity and an opportunity to serve to my community and country.
