Andrew Anderson '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andy Anderson and I am currently a senior at Eastland High School in Lanark, IL.  One of my collegiate goals is to win a national chanpionship and to leave a positive impact on my college.  Another goal is to be a strong team player and to be come a  true leader for my team.  I feel that my ability to be a positve influence and a good team leader would make me a strong canidate for your team. I have been my high school's team leader for the past 3 years. A huge role model and someone who has helped my golf game, is my high school goal coach Jason Hill. Coach Hill has been with me my whole High School career and is the main reason I feel in love with the game. One of my major motivators in golf that push me to work hard, is my opponets I play against. I can't stand to lose so the thought of losing to a kid I will play against motivates me to work my tail off.  

 I feel that my academics makes me different from other recruits.  I am currently a senior in high school but I do not take any high school level classes.  All of my classes are at the local community college.  In May of 2022, I will graduate with my high school diploma, and I will also be graduating from the community college with my associates degree in Chemistry. After getting a degree in science, I want to go to school to become a dentist. My biggest inspiration in becoming a dentist is my  step father. My step father is a dentist, and I get to hear about all the patients he helps everyday, and I want to be able to help people with their teeth too.  He also allows for me to have a pretty amzing lifestyle and I want to give that to my kids one day too. If I'm not on the course or studying for my classes, my biggest hooby and interest is cars.  I love all types of JDM cars. I also have a passion for spending time on the lake with my friends and family.
