Personal Statement

I would like to play collegiate golf while earning a degree in engineering and then pursue medical school to become a dermatologist or diabetologist. (I am a Type 1 diabetic and would like to help others with the same disease.) I am number 1 in my class and have a 4.0 GPA. I scored in the 99th percentile in math and 96th percentile in English on the PSAT.

I have been playing golf for only three years, but in this time, I have worked diligently and now consistently shoot in the mid-70s in 18 hole rounds. My official Indiana Golf Association Hanicap is a 1.5.
