October 2019
February 2019I started golf when I was just 3 years old and started competitive events at the age of 7, giving me a vast amount of tournament experience. This experience varies from parkland, heathland links, and multiple events. In addition to this, I have played several tournaments internationally in countries such as USA, Spain, Scotland, Portugal. My biggest inspiration is the Ryder Cup, I believe that the extremely competitive nature of team golf really suits me and my game. I have learnt a lot about team golf in both matchplay and strokeplay competitions. Whether if this is a foursome match for Surrey or a 2-day stroke play competition in the international school's annual event or a multi day event like the St Andrews Junior Boys Open. I thrive playing in an environment where there is a team behind me and helping push and progress me. Moreover, for me personally, I like playing in a social environment, I enjoy talking to my playing partners despite being opponents or teammates. The variety of influences have helped shape my game making it easier for me to adapt to most college golf situations.
As a student, I value my academics to the same extent as my golf. I would like to finish college with a degree and potentially pursue an MBA. My current academic passion is Business, coming from a business-related family it is what I wish to pursue in college and potentially a business related job in future life.
