Ben Christy Swing...Personal Statement
My name is Ben Christy from Johnston, Iowa. My current desire is to play on a competitive and passionate college golf team. I have enjoyed playing golf since I was very young; however I didn’t start prioritizing golf until my sophomore season. I began playing tournaments in the summer of 2022 and have appreciated the competitive atmosphere of these events.
I have played on the varsity team since the end of my sophomore season for Johnston High School. During this time, I have experienced competing at a high level and have learned the importance of demonstrating a strong work ethic both on the course and in the classroom. Being on a competitive team, I have encountered peaks and valleys both individually and as a team. I strive to learn from each of these moments to become a better person and golfer.
