Joseph Gilbert '18 Recruiting Profile

I want to go to college to gain an education in the medical field. It would exemplify my college experience if I had the opportunity to play college golf while furthering my education. My goal for my senior year is to win a state ring in golf because I have always had a passion for golf. I love the game, I love to practice and hit balls in my free time. In school I have a 3.8 GPA and a 21 on the ACT.  In golf I have positive attitude and a hard work ethic. I am different from others because when I have a bad day, instead of going home I stay out and figure out my problem. I'm also a team player. I put my team before myself. I learned a lot of that from Baseball where is start shortstop for our high school team that made the state tournament since 2000. I couldn't play any AJGA tournaments because baseaball went all the way to the summer, and my golf game wasn't where it needed to be.
