Maxwell Houck '23 Recruiting Profile

To say golf is just a sport to me would be an understatement. The game has completely consumed my life since I found my love for it over six years ago when I began taking lessons through First Tee. I have since progressed to regional golf tournaments and being one of the captains of my high school team. Through golf I have discovered my love for details. I will persistently try a drill or use a swing until I am happy with the outcome. As a result, I am very deliberate with my practice, game, school work, and responsibilities. In addition to golf, I also take all honors level classes and hold down two part-time jobs, one at the local golf range. After high school I would like to continue my golfing career, as well as pursue my academics at a competitive university, possibly studying Business Administration or Sports Management.
