Cooper Pigeon '25 Recruiting Profile

My personal goal is to hopefully receive a scholarship to play Division one golf.  What I believe makes me a good fit for any team is that I am very mild tempered and extremely easy to get along with.  This is something that I feel is crucial to having a team that meshes well together. When it comes to competing on the course, I feel I have better focus and concentration than anyone I am playing with.  I have been one of the top golfers in my age group in the entire Upper Peninsula over the past several years.  In 2023, I won tournaments in both the Upper Peninsula Golf Association Junior Tour and the WPGA  junior tour.  For only being able to golf six months out of the year due to living in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and not having any formal instruction or a swing coach, I feel have tons of untapped potential, especially with my work ethic and desire to excel at this sport.  When it comes to the classroom, I am very driven to be the best I can be and it is reflected in my good grades.  In person, I treat everyone with the same level of respect and the same way I would like to be treated.  I feel that this is also what separates me from other recruits. I believe I would not only be an asset, but a leader on any competitive golf team.
