James Barret '20 Recruiting Profile

After attending golf camp at Old Waverly in Columbus, MS in 2015, I decided it was my dream to play golf on a college level.  I enjoy the beautiful courses and the competitiveness it creates for myself.  I am coachable, a team player and leader.  I attend a single A school (154 students 1- 12) and have the opportunity to play underclass football, basketball, varsity baseball, track, and golf.  I see that as an advantage in that it gives me the opportunity to learn something about each of those sports.  And when I am not the best at one particular sport, I still support my team and go to every practice regardless.   Golf is by far my favorite and can't wait to play for you!
