My name is Roger Rice. I'm part of the class of 2027 at Chatham High School in New Jersey. Academically, I strive for excellence with the same dedication I bring to the golf course. I have retained high honors and my interests are business, chemistry, math and history. I believe success in the classroom lays the foundation for long-term achievement.
I have played golf since I was a little kid and fell in love with the sport from the moment I touched a club. It has forever been a dream of mine to play on the PGA Tour. I started competitive golf at the age of 7. Two years ago, I began competing in the NJPGA and proudly made the New Jersey Pritsch Cup team for two consecutive years. This past year, I was selected as the captain's pick due to my previous year's results and how I interacted with my opponents, teammates, and captain (Christina Paulsen). In both years, I went undefeated in both, single and four-ball matches. As a freshman in highschool I made the varsity golf team and quickly became the second lowest scorer in 9 hole matches and the lowest scorer in all 18 hole tournaments.

I am keen to continue my growth as a golfer as well as a student. As a team player I strive to make those around me better by setting a standard of resilience and toughness under pressure. I play by the rules with integrity at all times and would be an asset in any locker room on and off the course.
