My continuous improvement both academically and on the course since my freshman year has made me interested in playing golf at the collegiate level. Not only am I dedicated to the game, but I am also driven towards success. I will spend countless hours practicing until I am able to improve my weaknesses. In the classroom, I strive to study effectively and efficiently in order to succeed. Golf has immensely developed my character as well. Through my experiences, I have learned to become more patient and appreciative. From freshman year, I have greatly improved my mental toughness and understanding about the game on the course. Academically, I have moved from an honor roll student to a high honor roll/above 90s student. My goals include becoming a more consistent player, playing to my potential, and continuing to play in the AJGA. Though golf at the collegiate level is an individual game played on a team aspect, I think my positive attitude and persistence makes me a good team player.
