My name is Tyler Cammarota, I’m part of the graduating class of 2024. I attend Passaic County Technical Institute in New Jersey with a major in Finance. I’ve been playing golf since I was 5 years old, up until recent I’ve played basketball, soccer and baseball. I’m currently the captain of the varsity golf team, which won the first county title in 2022 and again in 2023. I won the sectional and county Tournament in 2023 placing first as well and continue to play in the NJPGA tour and Hurricane Tours. In 2024 pre season I was named players to watch for all Northern New Jersey.
My strength has been improving as well as my overall scoring. I've gained over 40 yards off the tee since 2023 and continue to focus on fitness that will help with distance. My short game has continually improved allowing me to score and reduce my averages in tournaments and school events.
Golf is now my full time sport. I’m looking to major in finance and have extensive background in this field aspiring to be a financial advisor in the future.
