I was a travel baseball player since 7 years old, but in 2019 I started playing golf, and I found my passion. I have since stopped travel baseball and devoted my time to golf. I worked with Cindy and Allen Miller in Buffalo, NY, and now I work with Tim Frank [https://www.timfrankgolf.com] on growing my skills. I continue to also play for my high school coach, Mark Jones. I love to learn, grow, work hard and reach goals. I think this is mostly why I have grown so quickly, with such great support and leadership on the course and at home from my parents. I am proud of my growth and the ability to shoot in the 70s already, though my goals are much larger. My goal is to play college golf and maintain the same high standards I hold in the classroom. By the time I reach college, I will be shooting par if not below!
Despite the relaxing environment that golf provides, fear seemed to nestle into my mind early on. However, Sam Snead once said, "Out of all the hazards, fear is the worst." This is what golf has taught me. Not to be afraid of what could happen, focus on what will happen. Focus on the shot, deliver—no time for fear.
Golf is a game of learning, and I want to find who will help me learn the most. To build off of what I have created on a collegiate level. I strongly feel that is what sets me apart; my ability to learn, cope and adapt to stress. Taking vigorous classes in an out of school, participating in many extracurriculars, and balancing a sport that is a top priority is difficult. The ability to balance all of these challenging endeavors applies not only in life but also in golf alone. Course management of stress and fear is the strongest attribute a player can have.
