Throughout my childhood, I have been involved in sports such as soccer, football, and basketball. After first picking up a club in my eighth grade summer, I was immediately hooked onto the game of golf. Through continuous hard work and dedication, I built upon my skill set day in and day out, striving to be the best. My golf game provides a great balance of mechanics as well as feel. The greatest characteristic of my golf game without a question would be work ethic. Everyday after school and even after practice, I work endlessly trying to improve my golf swing in any way I can. In my freshman year, I was the fifth seed on the team after my first year playing golf. It was a great experience for me to play in the regional tournament as well as the state championship. Last year I stepped up tremendously, averaging a 39.8 and leading our school team in scoring. I bring the best out of my team with my funny but engaging attitude towards golf. I am a leader who enjoys adding to team chemistry. In the classroom, I am a very devoted and determined worker. I constantly challenge myself by taking the toughest classes and working very hard in school. I am apart of a plethora of clubs and enjoy providing service to the community around me. I am very proud, yet not fully satisfied to have a GPA of 4.3. I manage to find balance within sports, academics, and social life. My dream is to play golf on the collegiate level and eventually move on to play professionally. I want my work ethic and leadership to have a major impact on my teammates, coaches, and peers.
