Personal Statement

 I have learned so much about myself as I have played golf, like, how I love to do difficult things, how I love to win, how losing is hard but not the end of the world, not to compare myself to other people, and most importantly golf is not my life. This has all taught me to push myself academically, get me out of my comfort zone, and to help the people around me be the best they can be. All these aspects of life are important because they all force me to grow as a person and to be the best me I can be. I can't ever do better than my best. When I was just a child, my dad started teaching me the game that he loved. He still helps me because he can see my weaknesses compared to my strengths during the round. He then helps me get better and be more confident in myself.

    • I am in jazz band and concert band. I go to a church youth group every Wednesday. National Junior Honor Society 7th and 8th grade. I was a WEB leader in 8th grade

    • WEB leaders helped the new 6th graders know where to go and how to succeed in middle school. I was also a runner up for the American Legion Most Representative Boy of my middle school. I also won the Spirit Award for 8th grade at my school.
