Personal Statement

My name is Holden Scribner and I am currently a Senior at Troy High School in Troy, Ohio. Golf has always been a passion of mine. It was the day I was hit in the eye with a golf club that I knew I wanted to golf the rest of my life. I am dedicated to working as hard as possible in both the classroom, and on the course. During my High School years, I have been learning how to balance school and golf in order to be successful at both. Throughout my life I have played many tournaments on the Plantations (now Hurricane Tour), SOPGA, Golfweek, and AJGA tours. Tournament play is something I am very familiar with, and something I am going to continue doing as long as I can. My favorite moment of my first high school golf season was a win at the Hadley Invitational with a 1-under 71 and two eagles.
