Jack O'Leary Swin...Personal Statement
I began playing competitive golf in 2013 and my game has improved each year. This past season my scoring average was 38.1 and 76.1 respectively for 9 and 18 holes. My USGA Handicap is currently 3.1 and this summer I won the Junior Championship at my club. The highlights of this past season were low rounds of 34, 35,and 35 during matches, however, the biggest highlight was being the Medalist at the W.P.I.A.L. Individual Semi-finals with a score of 69 (37-32).
Currently I am High Honors student with a GPA of 3.7 and I plan on taking the SAT in the spring of 2016. I also keep a full schedule of extracurricular activities including, Athletes Taking Action, Birdies for a Cause, Cause for Paws, and Junior Mentors. I plan on majoring in mathematics and secondary education.
