Personal Statement

I am a very determined, committed, and motivated golfer from South Carolina. I am a very dedicated student and athlete that wants to become the best in everything that I do. I am a good candidate due to my sincere dedication to my school and my sport, and academic success as well. I play golf as much as I can, and make sure that I better myself every single day in the sport. I also put the same amount of dedication and effort into my school and want to be as successful as I can. I like to consider myself as a strong Christian, and enjoy being an example of God in everything that I do.

SCJGA Major - Qualified in with a 79. Distace got changed to 7,001 for the full tournament which really changed it to a whole new golf course, but it didn't bother me too much mentally. I then shot 86, 82 with a mild case of the hooks on my tee shots. Irons played beautifully and so did the putter, giving me lots of opportunities to save par and still play well even though I wasnt in the best positions off the tee.

Couldnt putt whatsoever. I hit a majority of greens and just missed a lot of birdie putts, or wasn't able to get up and down. I struck the ball amazingly, I just needed to get the putter hot. I shot 79 (+7)

I shot 83 (+11) with +6 thru 2 holes starting my back nine, due to really unfortunate breaks. I would have to say, this was the best ball striking I have had yet, but had a few disconnections throughout my round that led to bogeys.

This was probably the best I have ever struck the ball. I hit 13 greens and hit a majority of fairways. The only bad thing was that I couldn't putt.. I 3 putted 8 times and ended up shooting an 85.

Really was mentally tired, but learned a ton and got stronger after this. This was my 5th and 6th tournament day in a row, leading to a 88 and 85 from 6800 yards. Struggled putting and around the greens, but also didnt hit many greens in regulation.
