John Melton '13 Recruiting Profile

        Hi I'm John. I'm from the small town of Williston SC. I am really interested in playing college golf. The size of the school doesn't matter to me although location does. I would like to stay in or near South Carolina so if I wanted to head home for a weekend I could. Some of my accomplishments are, when I was in 8th grade I finished 3rd in the 1A State Championship and in 10th grade I finished 1st in the 1A State Championship. This year in 11th grade I finished third in our State Championship missing the playoff by one stroke. I have been rewarded Region Player of the year two years and High School Golf MVP 3 Years. As far as being a part of a team I am a good leader and very encouraging, I also will work hard to get the best out of my game day in and day out so I don't let my team down.
