Spring Break 2017 was the first time I swung a golf club and fell in love. I take practice sessions seriously and enjoy playing any day, even in the cold. Since my first day my game has improved through hard work, good decision making, dedication, and I have applied all lessons learned into my life. My First Tee Coach, and ex LPGA Pro golfer Kristi Albers, said my first time swinging a club that I had a natural swing. I made the El Paso Junior League All Star Teams my second and third year playing, and I experienced competitive team play during Regional Finals in September 2019, finishing 3rd place. I was accepted into a high school magnet program, Maxine Silva Health Magnet School, and have a 3.8 or better GPA. This Fall 2020 semester I earned a 3.88 GPA, and I plan to apply to medical school and study to become a neurosurgeon. This is what sets me apart from others: I set high standards and will work hard to get there. I believe I will be a great asset to any golf program and I look forward to not only continue improving my game, but to join a team of other competitive golfers working towards one common goal.
