I grew up in a home where education was always the first priority. My mother is an attorney and my father has a Bachelor’s degree and works in sales. In and out of school, I strive to be the best student and person I can be. I want to set a good example for those around me. I am respectful in all situations of my peers, coaches, teachers, and supervisors.
At a young age my parents introduced me to a variety of sports, including basketball, baseball, soccer, and golf. In the eighth grade, I decided to focus on golf, though I still enjoy playing basketball recreationally. I began taking individual lessons and playing nearly every day. This led me to a spot on the Grapevine High School Golf Team. I am proud to represent my school, both at school tournaments as well as at Junior PGA tournaments. I love the sport and work everyday to improve my game.
At the age of 12, I started refereeing soccer games to earn extra money. I am also quite passionate about collecting athletic shoes; and began purchasing and reselling at the age of 13. I invest most of my profits into golf gear.
When I am on the course, I bring the values instilled in me by my parents. I work hard, am respectful of others, and approach the game with determination and gratitude. I am always willing to lend a helping hand to my teammates and other golfers in my group. I try to stay positive and am always motivated to improve throughout each round.
