Nothing would be more rewarding than having the opportunity to contribute to a golf team in college while pursuing my education. Over the past two years I have spent 40 plus hours a week on the golf course practicing or playing in tournaments. While golf has been an important part of my life recently, education is also a high priority. I currently work with a swing coach Seth Glasco 3 days per week and a mental coach Troy Bassham. Working with these coaches along with significant practice I am lowering my scoring average regularly.
Compared to other people I compete against I started golfing much later in life. I got serious about golf the summer before my sophomore year. That first year my scoring average was in the high 90's. Last year as junior I was able to get my average in the low 80's. I have no doubt this year I will be in the mid to low 70's.
I am often told my attitude and work ethic goes above and beyond what is asked of me both on and off the course.
