Alex Place '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alex Place, I'm a 17 year old who has played golf for the last 4-5 years, My goal for the last 2 years has been to make it to the collegiate level and play collie golf. I would make a great member of the team because of my strong work ethic and my ability to be coached and receive feedback with the opportunity to grow and change from recommendations made to me. What makes me different from other candidates is my work ethic. Most golfers have been playing since they were 5-6 years old. I however have only been playing for 4-5 years and in that time I have had to catch up to others who have been playing there whole lives. Over the past couple years i've devoted my life to golf practicing 10-15 hours a week if not more. and over the last 2 years I have seen my scores drop from 90s and 100s to mid to low 70s. along with that i've been able to stay in the top 2 percent of my class and have a weighted average over 110 in all of my classes.
