Unlike most golfers my age, I have only been playing competitively since January of 2017. For the last two years, I have been giving this sport my very best, day in and day out. I feel as an athlete, my golf career has been influenced the most by missing the cut to go to regionals by two strokes my freshman year. This defeat created a work ethic that shaped me into the golfer I am today, both in the mental and physical aspects of my game. I learned the value of not only putting in long hours on the course, but making every single rep have a purpose to understand my swing and solidify my shortgame. I'm looking for a place that is a good fit athletically as well as academically. I will never forget the role that hard work plays in success, and it has been the biggest factor in my achievements both academically and athletically.
