Viktor Akin '25 Recruiting Profile

I am Viktor Akin and I attend Sharyland High School in Mission, Texas, United States. The school, classified as "5A" by the UIL, is a part of the Sharyland Independent School District.  I am a proud Rattler.  I have been interested in golf since I can stand probably.  I have been competing since I was 10 years old in local tournaments.  I will make a good candidate for any college that is looking for students with tournament experience, determination, flexibility, dependability, and passion for the game.

I am sure I have so many similarities to other recruits, but I bring tournament experience that helps me handle pressure plus I have a sense of humor that will cheer up everyone on the team when times are bad. 

I would like to play with team members with diverse backgrounds because they will bring various solutions to the table, which leads to a more informed decision-making process and improved results. Diversity teams generally are able to make faster and better decisions.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the golf course. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
