Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Kuan and I am a 9th-grader at ACS Cobham International School. Having just moved from Houston to London, the shift was disruptive to my golf but I have been working hard to overcome it. In collegiate golf, I plan to contribute to the reputation of any team and work as hard as I can to make a difference.

As a kid, I started playing golf when I was 5 as a hobby with my dad but stopped after my dad started working overseas. I picked the game up again in 7th grade and have been working hard to catch up and pass my competitors. My motivation and desire to win helped push me through slumps in my golf game. Besides golf, I've maintained high grades. I believe my motivation and work ethic can help contribute to any team.
