I am very committed to the sport of golf. I have loved it my whole life and began developing a desire to compete around the ages of 10-12. My passion for golf has only deepened over the years and I would love to continue playing at the collegiate level.
I am a great candidate for a college team because I am very hard working, dedicated to practicing and improving my game, and I desire to compete at the highest level. I am good at motivating and encouraging others. I have dedicated my life to playing the best golf I can. I am teachable and willing to learn how to become better.
I am different from most candidates because I attend a small high school with no golf team. I have been able to play with peers from all different teams and competition settings at different golf tours, and built some great friendships and connections this way. I am able to make friends easily while working hard and staying focused at the same time. Not having had what most high school students do, I know that I would not take a team atmosphere for granted. I am also willing to look at both the positive and negative aspects of my game and work at both. I have to make the time on my own to practice, play, schedule lessons, find tournaments, and seek the help of my coaches and my dad when needed.

- I finished this tournament tied for 15th and shot 76-74. This was one of my best ball striking tournaments ever, my chipping was solid, but my putting was bringing me down I had 11 lip outs for the whole tournament. I was very pleased with how I played and I was able to be strong mentally the whole time.

- This was the biggest tournament of the year for me, I was able to shoot 75-74. I still felt like I left a lot out there, I had 3 doubles in the first round which cost me but I was able to stay in it. My main positive for me was that this was the best my putting has been in a long time.

- The first day I shot 84, I wasn't able to get practice, but in the round, I couldn't hit my shots. The second day was better I shot 78 still disappointed in my tournament as a whole but was able to learn a lot.

- In my best tournament round of the year, I shot even 72 and everything was feeling solid. I was playing consistently all-round going 36-36. I was able to finish tied for first.

- Had a solid first day and shot 74. I was able to get up and down a lot and was able to recover after a bad hole. The second day I shot an 81 I wasn't feeling confident in myself and it cost me. Although I've learned from it and have gotten better at it.
