I would really like to play and contribute to a hardworking team. Currently I am working really hard on the technical side of the game with my coach Brian Rogish. I have played in many tournaments on a variety of tours such as MAPGA, AJGA, VSGA, and HJGT. I also play for Riverside Highschool. In early 2021 my team won states as a team and I was runner up individually, shooting -4 (68). Later in the year at states I finished runner up again, this time shooting -2 (70). Over this year I gained a lot of experience on long and tough courses such as Lonnie Poole, where I shot +2 and +1 at the Faldo Hurricane Regional Qualifier, and the very tough PGA National Champion course, where I shot +4 both days. Over this past year my game have been better prepared for longer and more difficult course, however this year I really want to focus on scoring and converting more birdies from some of the shorter shots. On the Academic side of things, I am maintaining a 4.0 unweighted core GPA and a 4.3 weighted GPA. This year I am taking challenging classes such as AP Calculus AB, AP Economics, and DE US History, and working hard to improve in the classroom by taking five tutoring sessions a week throughout the school year. I am also getting involved with volunteering for First Tee, as I am volunteering as a teaching assistant once the spring season starts up.
