I have been playing golf for my entire life. I was 6 years old when I qualified and played in my first U.S. Kids Golf World Championship. Since then, I have always been playing in tournaments, and when I wasn’t, I was working on my game in my free time with my dad. I was 11 years old when I started to actually understand the game of golf and I began practicing on my own. At 13, I began playing in bigger tournaments and decided it was my goal to play college golf. Since then, I‘ve been playing in tournaments hosted by MAPGA, VSGA, HJGT, College Prep, and others. I will also play in my first AJGA Tournament this summer. I have played in plenty of golf tournaments and my current handicap is a 0.1, but that is based entirely on tournament play to reflect how I compete.
I am very dedicated to the game and I am always trying to improve whenever I have the chance by playing on the course, taking lessons, range sessions, and/or working on my short game. I feel that I have a very strong work ethic. I used to always ask to be taken to the course to practice until I got my license. I ask to be put in different tournaments. Although golf is now my only sport I play, I am also very dedicated to fitness and staying in shape. My average days now are go to school, then go golfing, and I stop by the gym on my way home.
