Jude Smith '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been a member of my varsity high school golf team all four years of high school and have been the captain for the last three. I was just named to the all-conference team my senior year. As captain I do my best to lead by example and make new members of the team feel welcome.  I work hard at whatever tasks I am involved in, whether it is grinding out hours of practice on the range, getting in as many rounds as possible or spending time on the practice green. I also take pride in working hard on the academic side of things as well. I am hopeful and looking forward to continuing to work hard on both at the collegiate level. While yet undecided some of my interests of study include sports psychology, physical therapy, and sports management/ statistics. As much as I would like to play as a freshman and feel like I could make an impact right away I am also am also open to learning, and improving my game.
