Shaun Martin '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Shaun Martin, I'm from West Allis Wisconsin. I got into golf 3 years, nearly 4 years ago from my best friend. I started out as anyone does with a massive slice, tops, shanks... but over the last 2 and a half years I've gone from a 25 handicap to about a 6-7 handicap with non fitted clubs. I believe if I got fitted clubs I can become scratch to plus handicap. My miss is normally left, I like to draw the ball of the tee to about 7 iron, than I like to cut the ball to get a little more spin and control with my wedges and short irons. My strong parts of my game is my chipping, bunker play, and short irons to wedges. I feel so confident with my wedges I have the confidence to challenge anyone to a closest to the pin with my 54 and 58* wedge. Currently at the moment I am looking into  a new driver three wood and five wood. I believe if I get the right combination I will be scratch. I believe that one isn't naturally gifted, I believe someone works for there talent. I dream  of being a college athlete and traveling around to courses.
