Patrick Routzon '19 Recruiting Profile

I am Patrick Routzon and I play at the varsity level at Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. I am an assistant captain and I play on the second line for our team. We are currently the #2 high school team in the state of Colorado. I am an exceptional leader being able to use my leadership skills effectively both on and off the ice. I am an extremely physical player, never afraid to battle it out in the dirty areas, and never afraid to take a hit to make a play. I have a good vision of the ice and can see the available men on the ice and effectively and safely get them the puck. I'm an exceptional player when placed in front of the net or above the hash marks to screen the goalie, box out, and get a stick on the puck for a deflection. My academic achievements include a 3.7 GPA, a 31 on the ACT, National Honors Society, and academic all-state.
